If You’re An Avid Reader You’ll Want To Escape To This Secluded Library In The Woods

Is there anything more alluring than stumbling upon an unrealistic imagery in the middle of nowhere?

Take for instance the isolated library set up in a wood in upstate New York – a small black building with a shining bright light, and an interior that’s almost dream-like – a fire burning, books lining the walls and a cozy chair for whoever walks in to enjoy this kingdom of belle letters.


This one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-way library, called Hemmelig Rom, or Norwegian for “Secret Room,” is every avid reader’s dream come true.


As far as the interior goes, the little black cabin is made of oak and it features a library, a bedroom and a wood-burning stove. There’s probably no better place on Earth to curl up with a good book. In other words, it’s the perfect place to escape the urban jungle.
