The aura really exists and now there’s scientific evidence to support this claim. What we perceive as the human aura is actually an electromagnetic field all bodies emit and this field plays a crucial part in understanding our biology and the connection we have with everything living.
Did you know that the heart emits the largest electromagnetic field of all our major organs? This field and the information it transports changes as our feelings, thoughts and emotions change. Our heart has also the ability to send signals to our brains via a system of neutrons which have short-term and long-term memory which can influence our emotional experiences. These electromagnetic fields which are encoded with emotional information can change in nature as our emotional state changes and thus influence everyone around us. Rollin McCraty, Ph.D, and director of research at The HeartMath institute explains it best, “we are fundamentally and deeply connected with each other and the planet itself.”

These are exciting times, scientifically speaking and even though it’s not emphasized and studied in the mainstream as it should be, science is finally admitting that we are all part of a giant web of connections which doesn’t only encompass life on this planet, but the entire solar system and beyond.
We mentioned heart coherence, but do you understand what it really means? It implies order, structure, and as Dr. Rozman tells it, “an alignment within and amongst systems – whether quantum particle, organisms, human beings, social groups, planets or galaxies. This harmonious order signifies a coherent system whose optimal functioning is directly related to the ease and flow in its processes.” It implies positive emotions, like love, gratitude, appreciation which doesn’t only affect our nervous system, but the people around us as well, and have a much bigger impact than previously thought.
Similarly to studies which have been conducted on mass meditation and prayer. When it comes to how they affect the human physical systems, a number of studies have shown statistically significant results. The importance of coherence is further supported by the fact that a number of organizations across the globe have conducted synchronized meditations, prayers, intention experiments, and more. Numerous studies have shown that collective meditations, prayer or focused intention directed toward a certain positive outcome can have measurable effects.
A study conducted during the Israel-Lebanon war in the 1980s is an excellent example for this. Two Harvard University professors organized groups of experienced meditators in Jerusalem, Yugoslavia, and the United states with the specific purpose of focusing attention on the area of conflict at various intervals over a 27-month period. During the course of the study, the levels of violence in Lebanon decreased between 40% and 80% every time a meditating group was meditating. The average number of people killed during the war each day dropped from 12 to 3, and war-related injuries fell by 70%. (1)
One more extraordinary example is a study conducted in Washington DC in 1993, when crime rates decreased by 25% when 2,500 meditators meditated during a specific periods of time with that intention.

THE GLOBAL COHERENCE INITIATIVE (GCI)
The Global Coherence Initiative is an international cooperative effort with the purpose to aid in activating humanity’s heart and ease a change in global consciousness. Its main objective is to inspire people to actively take part and add more heart-coherent love, care, and compassion into the planetary field. They also focus on scientific research to discover how we are all energetically interconnected amongst ourselves and the planet, and how we can use this interconnectivity to increase our personal vibration and help make the world a better place.
Here are the hypotheses of the researchers and scientists behind this process:
- The Earth’s magnetic fields are a carrier of biologically relevant information that connects all living systems
- Every person affects this global information field. Large numbers of people creating heart-coherent states of love, appreciation, care, and compassion can generate a more coherent field environment that benefits others and helps off-set the current planetary discord and incoherence
- There is a feedback loop between human beings and Earth’s energetic/magnetic systems
- Earth has several sources of magnetic fields that affect us all. Two of them are the geomagnetic field that emanates from the core of the Earth, and the fields that exist between Earth and the ionosphere. These fields surround the entire planet and act as protective shields blocking out the harmful effects of solar radiation, cosmic rays, sand, and other forms of space weather. Without these fields, ice as we know it could not exist on Earth. They are part of the dynamic ecosystem of our planet
If you take a moment and think about our planet and the conditions on it we can safely assume that we’re not in coherence. There’s violence, hate, wars, greed and negative emotions which plague our world. There’s a lot of work ahead of us but if we’re positive on our quest we can achieve everything. We are yet to determine the effect from our thoughts, emotions, and feelings on the planet so there’s still a lot of research to be done on the subject.
Scientists are aware of these energetic fields but there are still a lot of things they don’t know. They know that solar activity influences our health and behavior, scientific literature supports this but how? There’s a lot of scientific literature that supports the claims that ‘physiological rhythms and global collective behaviours are not only synchronized with solar and geomagnetic activity, but that disruptions in these fields can create adverse effects on human health and behaviour’.
When the Earth’s magnetic field environment is distributed it can cause sleep problems, mental confusion, usual lack of energy or a feeling of being on edge or overwhelmed for no apparent reason. At other times, when the Earth’s fields are stable and certain measures of solar activity are increased, people report increased positive feelings and more creativity and inspiration. This is likely due to a coupling between the human brain, cardiovascular and nervous system with resonating geomagnetic frequencies. (1)
Our brain, cardiovascular system, and autonomic nervous system have a frequency range from 0.01 hertz to 300 hertz which is almost the same frequency range generated from the Earth and ionosphere. This could potentially explain how the Earth and Sun’s magnetic field fluctuations have an effect on us because it has been proven that these changes can influence our brain waves, heart rhythms, memory, athletics performance, and overall health.

By now we’re convinced that these fields have an impact on our organism but what about our impact on these fields? That may be the more pressing question. Well, according to GCI scientists since our brain waves and heart rhythm frequencies overlap with the resonance field of the Earth, we don’t just receive relevant bio-data but we also emit the same type of information into the global field, creating a feedback loop with the Earth’s magnetic fields
According to research human emotions and consciousness encode information into the geomagnetic field and this information is distributed globally. Our planet’s magnetic fields act as carrier waves for this information which influences all living systems and the collective consciousness.
Even though this research is still in its conception phase, it looks very promising. It could further support the fact that our every emotion, intention and attitude really matters quite a lot and that they can influence all life on Earth. With coherent, cooperative intention we can affect global events and improve the quality of life on Earth. You can do plenty! For example, the next time you feel angry, frustrated or upset observe yourself and your reactions. It can help you improve yourself and grow personally. Try and do whatever is in your power to feel better. You can try eating healthier, exercise, minimize your time in front of the computer, TV or smartphone and just spend more time with your loved ones, your friends, family and pets. Don’t judge people too hard and work on being more grateful, helpful and try treating people the same way you’d like to be treated.
You could also try meditation to help you in achieving the aforementioned goals. Find your inner peace, control your emotions and forget about all the negative feelings.
