During the summer your feet sweat a lot. Or we can say that they sweat more than usual or more than any other season. That is why, in summer there is a greater probability of developing fungal infections in the area around your toes. Therefore, in summer, it is best to be barefoot as much as you possible and take a good care of the hygiene of your feet. However if you experience any problems with fungal infections, you don’t need to worry. All you have to do is try this natural remedies:
Hydrogen peroxide is excellent for treating fungal infections, because it will destroy all the bacteria and the fungi. This mixture will kill all the unpleasant fungal infections and that way it will stop them from spreading. For preparing this mixture all you have to do is add around 100 milliliters of 3% pharmaceutical grade hydrogen peroxide in one liter of distilled water and your remedy is ready. Now all you have to do is soak your feet in this mixture every morning and every evening for 20 minutes.
First of all you need to remember this: Avoid nylon socks and shoes with synthetic insoles. Also it is very important to walk barefoot as much as you can. If you have to wear closed shoes, you must destroy all the potential bacteria in them. In order to do that you need to make a mixture of cold water and sodium bicarbonate (1:3). Now all you have to do is apply this mixture in your shoes every day and then allow them to air dry.
Starch is excellent for the treatment of your feet, because it absorbs all the moisture. This is what makes starch a great ingredient for pastes that prevent the appearance of all the unpleasant bacteria and fungi.
Now for preparing this remedy all you have to do is mix half a teaspoon of corn starch with a little bit of warm water. Next thing you need to do is set your oven to 220 degrees and keep the mixture in the oven until it darkens. Then you need to clean nicely your feet and dry them. After that, take this mixture and rub it on your feet. Leave it like that for about a minute and then wash the mixture off with warm water.
Soak your feet in yogurt
Yogurt is rich in live bacteria- acidophilus. This is what makes the yogurt a great cure for foot infections that usually develop in the area between the toes and the nails. This “friendly” microorganisms, which can be found in the yogurt, are excellent for your feet, because they can kill all the fungal infections. For this treatment all you have to do is soak your feet in yogurt or you can simply rub yogurt all over them and leave the yogurt to dry. Then, just wash it off with cold water.
